Braces & Alignment

What are braces?

Braces are fixed orthodontic appliances made up of brackets (attached to the teeth), archwires, and elastic bands. They apply continuous, gentle pressure over time to move teeth into their correct positions.

Brackets are bonded to each tooth, and wires are threaded through to control the direction of tooth movement. Adjustments are made regularly to guide alignment and bite correction.

Expected Results

  • Straighter teeth and improved alignment

  • A healthier bite (reduced overbite, underbite, crossbite)

  • Enhanced facial balance and smile aesthetics

Align For Fun (Clear Aligners)

What is Align For Fun?

Align For Fun is a system of custom-made, clear plastic aligners that gently shift your teeth into place over time. The trays are virtually invisible when worn.

Patients receive a series of aligners designed using digital 3D scans. Each set is worn for 1–2 weeks and replaced as the teeth gradually shift. Aligners must be worn 20–22 hours per day.

Expected Results

  • Gradual but consistent alignment

  • Improved bite and spacing

  • Beautiful, discreet smile transformation

Early Treatment for Children

 What it is?

Orthodontic evaluation and treatment that begins between ages 7–10, while baby and adult teeth are still present. It focuses on early signs of crowding, jaw growth issues, or bite problems.

How it works

An orthodontist monitors growth and uses simple devices like expanders or partial braces to guide teeth and jaw development. Not all children need treatment, but early evaluation is important.

Expected Results

  • A guided path to proper alignment

  • Reduced risk of future complications

  • Early correction of functional or aesthetic problems

Early Interceptive Treatment

A proactive treatment phase for younger children that addresses developing problems with tooth position or jaw alignment before all permanent teeth have erupted.

How it Works

Appliances such as expanders, partial braces, or habit breakers are used to create space, stop harmful habits (like thumb sucking), and improve jaw balance.

Expected Results

  • Prevention of more severe orthodontic problems later

  • Balanced jaw development

  • Better spacing for permanent teeth

Post- Treatment and Advanced Care

Retainers

 What is it?

Retainers are custom appliances used after orthodontic treatment to hold teeth in their new positions and prevent relapse.

How it works

Retainers may be removable (worn nightly or as instructed) or fixed (bonded to the back of teeth). They support the stability of alignment by maintaining tension over time.

Expected Results:

  • Long-lasting treatment results

  • Stable bite and alignment

  • Preservation of smile aesthetics

Adult Braces

Adult braces are orthodontic treatments designed specifically for fully developed teeth and jaws. They work the same way as traditional braces but are tailored to adult needs such as lifestyle, bite correction, long-standing misalignment, and cosmetic considerations.

How it Works

Brackets are placed on the teeth and connected with an archwire that gently guides movement. Regular adjustments are made to gradually align the teeth and correct the bite.

Expected Results

  • Corrected alignment and improved bite function

  • Reduced tooth wear and jaw strain caused by misalignment

  • A more confident, refined smile

  • Better long-term dental health through proper positioning
